1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ScoreBeeper's mobile applications, website (scorebeeper.com), or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ScoreBeeper GmbH ("ScoreBeeper", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Service Description

ScoreBeeper provides a sports score tracking platform that allows users to:

• View live scores and match information
• Track favorite teams, players, and competitions
• Receive push notifications for match events
• Participate in community features (Fan Groups, predictions)
• Access standings, statistics, and historical data

3. User Accounts

Some features of our Service require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You may also use certain features as a guest without creating an account, subject to limited functionality.

4. Acceptable Use

When using our Service, you agree not to:

• Infringe on the rights of others
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Sports data displayed in our Service is sourced from third-party data providers and remains their intellectual property. Team logos, names, and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as nicknames or predictions). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

6. Third-Party Content & Data

Our Service displays sports data from third-party providers. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of this data. Match scores, statistics, and other information are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for gambling, betting, or other financial decisions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOREBEEPER GMBH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (EUR 100).

This limitation of liability does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

9. Termination

By You: You may stop using our Service at any time. To delete your account and associated data, please contact us at contact@scorebeeper.com.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms our Service or other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also enjoy the protection of mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, we encourage you to first contact us at contact@scorebeeper.com to seek an informal resolution.

If an informal resolution is not reached, any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Germany. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an email or in-app notification.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ScoreBeeper GmbH regarding the use of our Service.
